Hoysee is a minor state in southern Gemanica. Politically and culturally it looks towards the eastern Empire. Originally the holdings of the Landgraf of Hoysee the ruling family has slowly acquired lands and titles until in the late 19th Century has become the Grand Duchy of Hoysee. The country lacks major resources and while still largely rural under the Grand-duke Mikal IV is trying to modernise and become a modern industrial state. The Dukes personnel ambition is to raise Hoysee to a kingdom.
