+So When an encounter occurs I dice up one of Neil's 30 scenarios and yes I do have a D30! I randomised who is RED and whom BLUE and dice up the armies using my 'adjusted' army generation tables and play the game under Beyond the Empire rules. These rules also are used post game to see how loses impact on the well being of the army.
+If you examine the OHW tables there is a maximum number of each troop type possible my armies are those maximums. the 'fiction' that there is only enough supplied for six units to be at the frontline is simple a gaming device.
+The Ultimate aim of the campaign is to drive the opponent of the map occupying all towns and villages but a count of how far the relative supplyheads shows the relative success of both parties.
+OCCUPYING TOWNS AND VILLAGES
+Once either a RED or WHITE army has occupied by force a town or village it doesn't need to be continuously physically occupied. It is assumed that small group of Cheka (Bolsheviks) or pro-tsarist officals are strong enough to keep the local population in line.
